Rob has been sim-racing since August of 1995. 2007 has been another year of mega-change; initially, Rob planned on running a reduced schedule. He had committed to running the full NASS Thunder and Truck Series' for Outlaw Motorsports and the ISRS Open Wheel offline series. In AKM/sim500 action, Rob was to run the full mini-series in both the Nocturnal Adrenaline and Midnight Thunder series, as well as AKM's Sunday Cup Series. This will be the regular season debut of the '07 Toyota Camry and the Car-of-Tomorrow (COT).
Since things have changed in the employment department again, it has affected his racing time. To quench his need for speed, Rob has returned to offline racing, competing full-time in SOAR STS Truck, and ISRS Nextel Cup and CTS series'. Otherwise, Rob said any other racing will be one-off or special event races in James Gang Racing prepared cars.
Rob lives in Wichita, Kansas, he and his wife Angie have two daughters, Ashley (10) and Kaitlyn (6), and a son, Robert Cole (4).
